Mikko was more then happy to snuggle up against him. She returned the kiss, her tongue flicking over his lips. She also wished they could do more. She was staying positive that his situation was only temporary, but if it wasn't, she would stay by his side. She loved him. He made her happy, and she honestly couldn't see her life without him now.

Lets be glad you didn't. It would have just been more your body would have to heal.

She didn't totally believe that it only stung, but she didn't know how how bad it was. She kissed him again and nuzzled his cheek.

I'm going to make this trip to the lab as quick as I can. As far as i know. I just have to run in. note cameras, and the cages the guys are in and head out, call Leo and let them do the rest. though. I might still go back and help them when they go to get their brothers out of there.

It was nice to feel that a female actually cared about him. Sure, he had gotten that from Lexi too, but he knew he had fucked that up, through no fault of his own. But now he had a second chance at a happy relationship... it only sucked that it wouldn't be 'normal'. Not with his current condition, but hopefully that all would change.


Frowning deeply as he snuggled her, kissing her softly then nuzzling soft kisses against her neck. "Wish you didn't have to go, babe... but I know you gotta do what you feel is right. Jus'... be careful..." And he met her lips,kissing her deeply, reluctant to let her go on this mission, but knew she had a strong desire to help. They did owe the turtles, after all....

Mikko returned all his kisses and gave him some of her own. I know. But. It's not like I'll be doing any fighting. With the suit on, no one will even know it's me. Annnnnnnd I can pick you up something on the way home if you want. Some beer? drugs? porn?

The water was starting to get cold so she stood up, giving her ass a little shake.

Water's getting cold and I need to get going, love. Lets get you dressed. OH! and then you can meet Daisy! You'll...Uh...I'm sure you'll get long with her. and her strange hamster.

Eze was starting to think he wasn't going to see Gabe today, but finally he and Mikko came out of the room. Eze was in the middle of trying to figure out just what the hell the thing in the cage was, and Bella was trying to drag Daisy out to the pound to get fish to feed the alien creature.

Mamma had settled in the rocker outside and was knitting.

When Ezekiel noticed Gabe, he waited for him and Mikko to say their good byes then walked over to him.

How you feeling today, man? And where is she running off to fully dressed?

Gabriel did not want her to leave, but understood that she had to. He was mentally kicking himself for being unable to go with her. Though Mikko was a ninja and a better fighter than him, it was still his place, as her boyfriend, to protect her... and it hurt that he couldn't.


He hoped that someday, he could be that for her. Her protector. It still worried him that she may get bored of him, if he couldn't heal. If he could never walk down the isle with her. If he could never make love to her again...



Gabe was pulled from his destructive thoughts by Ezekiel's voice, and despite how he was feeling mentally, managed a faint grin. "The Turtles are in trouble. She's gonna go get info for Leo. Guess we owe 'em that much... just wish I coulda gone with 'er."

I'm sure she'll be fine. I'm more worried about the chick Mikko brought to the house. The supposed her sister. Bella's out there with her catching minnows for this...thing. he said pointing to the alien in the cage.

Eze walked up to Gabe and patted his shoulder.

It's gonna be fine. When are you starting therapy?

But despite the reassurances, Gabriel couldn't help but worry. They hadn't exactly been lucky here lately. When Eze mentioned the 'thing', Gabriel looked at it with disgust. "What is that.. one of those hairless cats? Did someone eat it's ears?... And Mikko has a sister??" He asked, recalling that Mikko had mentioned something about it in passing.. but he was curious...


Then Eze mentioned therapy and Gabe just shrugged his shoulders... "I dunno....think that shit's actually gonna help?" There was doubt in his tone...

I don't know what the fuck it is. Eze admitted. And she clams to be the sister. Seems just as insane as Mikko so I believe it.

Ezekiel gave Gabe a punch to his shoulder as he walked passed him.

Can't hurt to try at least. If you don't try the therapy you might always wonder what if you had. If it were me, I'd try whatever I could. Either way, Ya know I got ya back, man. You hungry?

Being in his condition, and considering that Gabriel possessed the trait to be depressed, it was easy to find into the mindset that this was it. He would be confined to this wheelchair forever. He didn't want to have to depend on anyone, but it was touching to know that his bro had his back.


Luckily Ezekiel had passed and was out of position to see the tears that brimmed Gabriel's glazed green eyes. He quickly blinked them away.. he couldn't show anymore weakness...


"Yeah... starvin'. Think those pain meds gave me the munchies..."

Mama cooked up some pancakes and bacon. Got lots left. Ezekiel told him and took everything back out that had been put away. I've been thinking. We can't stay out here forever. Bella is going to be starting school. I'm going to need to make an appearance to Hun soon. Mama'a talking about wanting to go back home. And then everything with Lexi...

Eze sat down in a chair and plopped his head on the table with a thud.

You think yer girl can hook us up with some really good drugs?

Gabriel also wished to return home, but maybe being out here wouldn't be so bad. Maybe the country life would grow on them. It didn't matter, as long as everyone stayed safe.


Wheeling himself to the table Gabe helped himself to some of Mama's fine home cooking. Man, how he had missed days like this....


"What about home schoolin'.... an'... maybe life out here won't be so bad. At least until Hun is ...dead." He suggested, shoving a bite full into his mouth. Honestly, he didn't want his family placing themselves in danger by going up against Hun. He would rather let this go, lay low until Hun's fate eventually caught up to him.....


Then Ezekiel said something that caught Gabe's attention...



"Lexi? What do you mean what happened with her...." And he had an instant feeling there was something his brother wasn't telling him. "What's goin' on, Eze?"

Ezekiel got really quiet then slowly lifted his head up to look at Gabe. Shit. He was hoping to wait until Lexi was home safe before telling Gabe anything. That way he wouldn't want to run off to the city. But he had let it slip. There was no backing out of telling him now.

She's in the hospital. He started. Laz is with her. She...Uh...Lexi was raped, Gabe.

He left out the pregnancy because he wasn't sure if Lexi wanted to be the one to announce that to him. And of course he was vague on the who and where and how. Gabe didn't need to know that right now either. Or maybe he did and Eze was just being too protective of Gabe. Who knew.

A million thoughts raced through Gabriel's mind. He was preparing himself for the worst, but could not brace himself for the news he had received...


"What?! By who?!?" He had a pretty good idea.It had to be Hun or his Dragons..


"Is she okay?? Is anyone watchin' that room??"

Hun. She's ok, like I said, Laz is staying with her. But no, there's no police or anything.

Ezekiel had a feeling he was going to be bringing Gabe to the hospital to see Lexi. He didn't mind, in fact he figured it would be good for her to have visitors. He was worried about Gabe though. How he would want to hunt down the ones that hurt Lexi.

I suspect she was the one that blew up HQ. I hear that Hun is fucked up, half dead and in some privet hospital. Don't know details.
